Chocolate for Sale

09/20/07 @ 04:32:29 am, by Kate Hopkins Email 2223 views • Categories: Chocolate, Online

The following were found during my web surfing over the past few days...

First- Bacon covered chocolate.

What? That doesn't do it for ya'? Then how about some chocolate covered brains?

Mmmm...braiiins.

Oohh, and if you're pregnant, there's always chocolate covered pickles.

Then there's the classic chocolate covered beetle.

Enjoy!

Well, I have to say that the chocolate covered beetle was not what I was expecting!

the chocolate covered brains would be perfect for halloween though.

And I'm all for mixing savoury and sweet together, but methinks I'll pass on the choccy covered bacon.

Well... I'd try it if someone offered it to me, but I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase it.

I just did a post on my blog about some similar finds. Yours are better for Halloween though!

I'm so tempted to order the bacon covered chocolate....I tried making bacon brittle last week and it didn't turn out so well (didn't harden) but OH MY PORKY LORD it was delicious.

Ugh! How about the limited edition chocolate toothpaste that Close-up brand came out with a few years ago?

I've had that bacon chocolate bar from Vosges. It's awesome. Absolutely awesome. I highly recommend it, as well as just about everything else Vosges makes. Their Red Fire bar and Red Fire ice cream have yet to be surpassed, in my estimation.

By the way, it's not bacon covered chocolate; it's more like they put bacon bits in the chocolate bar. It doesn't have an overpowering baconey taste; it's a wham of sweet, chocolate, and salt, with a nice undercurrent of bacon.

I've reviewed the bacon covered chocolate, and I think it's a worthy taste experience. Though I too was initially skeptical on how it would taste, which makes me think I should give those chocolate-covered gherkins a shot as well.

Though glad to hear that it wasn't strips of bacon covered with chocolate, I have to wonder who thought "You know what would go great with these brains? Chocolate!"
