Dole produce with E.Coli...again

09/18/07 @ 03:33:06 am, by Kate Hopkins Email 1706 views • Categories: E.Coli

From the Headlines:

Dole Fresh Vegetables is recalling about 800 cases of salads shipped throughout the United States and Canada after Canadian government testing revealed contamination with a deadly strain of E. coli bacteria.

So...how's that voluntary self-regulation going? I thought that the whole point of the California Leafy Green Product Handlers Marketing Agreement was to prevent E.Coli from entering the marketplace.

Comments, Pingbacks:

Just an FYI:

"Although this most recent salad mix recall has originated from a Canadian E. coli scare, A Dole spokesperson told the Associated Press that 755 cases containing 4,530 bags of Dole's Hearts Delight salad mix were distributed in the United States."
