Burger King, no longer happy with the return on product placement in the movies, is developing a film whose main character lives above one of its burger franchises.

I am speechless.

Unbelievable. We live in such a greedy corporate culture. That just feels WRONG.

Not only am I not surprised, I see a "Walmart: The Movie" soon behind it. The hook will be falling movie ticket prices, or look for a free admission on the back of lucky Walmart receipts. We make cookie crisp cereal, krispy kreme cheeseburgers, and burger king movies. Proud to be an American? Not always.

That's so funny it makes me cry. I'm sure it will be an instant classic.

Greedy? You know how hard it is to make money in the movie business? Even a successful, experienced company like Disney which just made $130 million in one weekend on Pirates of the Caribbean is cutting back its production by a huge amount because it's bleeding. You want to kill corporate America, let them make movies.

Oh my god! This is almost as horrible as Warner Brothers making movies with their prodcuts featured (see: Superman, Batman, Catwoman, etc.).
