The Seattle Times Food Section recognizes that the Seattle Food Blog scene exists! Hoorray!

Let's give it up for all of the Seattle food blogs mentioned...

And a special shout out to those Seattle Food Bloggers that should have been mentioned but weren't:

LOL! I wasn't aware of A Food Lover's Journey. Dig that it's a PI blog.  ^_^

I knew something was up over here when my site started getting hits this morning ;)

Congrats on your inclusion in the article Kate. And there are a few here I haven't read before, looking forward to some good morning reading.

It is nice to see the scene getting some notice.

Congrats! Great to see some local blogs getting recognition!

I'll add another one of my recent Seattle finds to the list... The Robotic Gourmand does great restaurant summaries, complete with some nice photography.

Hey Kate, thanks for the shout out! We're not exactly in Seattle (gotta drive to Anacortes and hop on a ferry to get here), but seeing as Friday Harbor doesn't exactly have a food blogging scene, we'll happily consider ourselves "adopted" by the greater Seattle food blogging community!

Oh, and if I may, I'd like to give a shout out to another Seattle blogger not on the list, Kimberly of the lovely Music and Cats.

As one of those mentioned, I second your list of the worthy who weren't. Many are called, etc. Thanks for the link, Kate!

Though not strictly a food blog, Discolor Online often features food stuff. Nicole is erecting a large list of her favorite recipes, too. Yum!

Kate:
Thanks for mentioning all the rest of us! It's very thoughtful of you.

It's funny that with all the play food blogs have had, that it it took the Times this long to get around to an article. I guess there have been small mentions in the past but this was the most coverage I've seen to date.

Thanks again!

Thank you for the mention, Kate! And for the new names. I love how many food blogs are being born. You are the godmother of us all here.
