I've read a lot of great posts since I started exploring the world of food blogs this year, but I think "FFRB* II : Ah Saam’s Signature Chicken Dish" at shiokadelicious! is my favorite. It is a great-sounding recipe (that I hope to try soon), a touching family reminiscence, and a window into another culture. Just a wonderful piece of writing all round. Thanks, Renee!

I nominate Hog On Ice post on Timpano. It was funny enough to make me LOL at school. The students made me share the humor, many being Italian raved about Timpano, which is why this Irish girl is going to attempt this for Christmas Eve dinner, his recipe, not this one. This post deserves the award however.

Chez Pim, but not for the one of Ispahan. A Meal Fit for A Prophet touched me so much it made me cry, very timely too.
