12/08/04 @ 11:44:43 am, by Kate Hopkins Email 931 views • Categories: Food, 2004 Food Blog Awards, Nominations

I am looking for nominations for any food blog which covers the food industry. You can define food industry in any way, be it the restaurant industry, agra-business, wine industry, whatever. The site must have 4 posts per month covering this industry, for seven consecutive months. Yes you can nominate yourself. Please put your nominations for this category in the comment section of this post only!

Yes, I'm nominating Snackspot.org.uk for this one as well, for being more up-to-date on some of the latest snack innovations than many of the more "serious" news sites.

Carolyn Tillie's wine blog within eG throughout the past year was an inspiration.

OK, I'll nominate myself -- I think it fits best here (but feel free to move the category.) The theme is low carb. (And, no, it isn't dead yet!)

Here is one of my first posts... and still appropriate!

I second the nomination of Life Begins @ Thirty - and the category more specifically tends to be about the Farmers Market "Industry"

As a restaurateur, I can't help but notice that there are very few acutual restaurant blogs. Sure there are restuarant reviewers to beat the band but no restaurants blogging their own message.

I was hoping that restaurant blogs would have a separate category. But apparently there arn't enough restaurant blogs. See what I mean?

Therefore, I feel the need to nominate our own restaurant site entitled "It's All About The Food Folks". We talk about food and everything else that interests our customers here in this resort town.

I would love to see more independent restaurants adopt the blog. It's worked great for us.

I must also add The Full Belly to this, in the current and previous incarnation (NYC Eat).
